John McCarthy, President

John McCarthy is President and Founder of Risk Metrics Corporation. Mr. McCarthy founded Risk Metrics Corporation in 1997. In 1998, Mr. McCarthy acquired DataLister and saw an opportunity to build a one of a kind information products company serving the commercial insurance industry. Prior to Founding Risk Metrics, Mr. McCarthy spent 5 years at the National Council on Compensation Insurance serving as Sr. VP Sales & Marketing. Prior to his time at NCCI, Mr. McCarthy held prior positions as Sr. VP Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Knight-Ridder Financial and spent 13 years at Dun & Bradstreet last serving as Sr. VP of Dun’s Marketing Services. For more than 30 years, Mr. McCarthy has created market intelligence systems for financial and insurance industry leaders and continues to do so with the innovative products and solutions provided by Risk Metrics

Phillip Aikey Ph.D., Director of IT

Dr. Aikey leads the information technology department within Risk Metrics. Prior to his time at Risk Metrics, Dr. Aikey served in a number of senior technology roles at Capital Confirmation, USA Technologies and Bankrate. Dr. Aikey has over 20 years business experience concentrated in the development of matching algorithms and their application within business environments. Dr. Aikey obtained his Master of Science and subsequent Ph.D in set theory and logic from Lehigh University.

Armond Benoit, Executive Vice President

Mr. Benoit leads the sales and business development practice for Risk Metrics. Prior to his position at Risk Metrics, Mr. Benoit served Sr. VP at Dun & Bradstreet and President of three information companies: A start up health care company (UMED), a twenty- two year old marketing service company (American List Council) with sales to Fortune 500 companies, and most recently at MarketStance, an insurance analytical marketing and risk information company.

Kevin McCarthy, V.P. National Accounts

Kevin McCarthy manages the National Accounts division of Risk Metrics. Through this roll Kevin coordinates data exchange and integration efforts with commercial insurance carriers and information partners. Prior to Risk Metrics, Kevin spent several years with UBS in their New York and Chicago offices after attending Bucknell University.

Steve Axelrad, Director of Government Relations

Mr. Axelrad manages Risk Metrics' interaction with state governing bodies and agencies. Mr. Axelrad facilitates and coordinates data exchange and government relation efforts for Risk Metrics and its auxiliary fraud prevention services. Prior to his position with Risk Metrics, Mr. Axelrad served in numerous government consulting positions for the National Council on Compensation Insurance.
