DataListerSM includes many databases that are integrated with
software to provide you with the power to explore and output valuable
information about employers.
Government Data
The workers compensation policyholders information is the principal database
which you will be using. This database contains megabytes of information on
employers in your state with a workers compensation policy.
The data is provided by the entity(s) in your state that maintains data for
and/or governs workers compensation insurance.
The workers compensation policyholder information includes: Employer name &
address, county, carrier and effective month. Additional
variable data elements may include; current account status, cancel date, SIC
code, workers comp class code and number of employees.
Private Data
Information is appended to the government data as part of the data processing
service that DataLister provides your company. The data is acquired from
various for-profit vendors.

Associated information telephone numbers. The government data does
not originally include telephone numbers. Associated information is used for
two purposes; to add exact phone numbers to employer records and to
provide all telephone numbers located at each employer’s particular address.
Number of Employees. Where available, employer records may show
the estimated employee size. This will help in defining searches.
SIC Code Data
The SIC Code
data is a database of the U.S. Standard Industrial Classifications.
U.S. industries are categorized into the following divisions: Agriculture,
forestry, and fishing; mining; construction; manufacturing, transportation and
public utilities; wholesale trade; retail trade; finance, insurance, and real
estate services; public administration; and non-classifiable establishments.
Each SIC code division contains a series of sub-categories that cover all areas
within that specific division.
Insurance Carriers
The carrier database includes most workers compensation insurance carriers
providing coverage for your state.
